In an August 24th meeting facilitated by Scott McPherson, Territory manager for Associated Equipment Dealers and hosted by CrossTrac Equipment in Rhinelander WI, Congressman Jack (General) Bergman was provided information about new forestry equipment and the forest industry. It was also an opportunity for meeting attendees to learn more about the General and his principles as a congressman.

GLTPA's Director's Notes

I Was Logging When Logging Wasn’t Cool. Most loggers have been logging for a long time and have either been born and raised in the forest industry or have become part of it based on the experience of someone else who may have been logging for many years. Frankly, I am not sure anyone in logging has given much thought to whether it is a “cool” profession only because it is a way of life passed on from generation to generation.
